Christiane Kersten combines the experience and knowledge of classical surgery with the precision and attention to detail of plastic and aesthetic surgery.

With the utmost passion, she achieves natural treatment results. Christiane Kersten’s main focus is on the body, while Peyman Bamdad’s main focus is on the face and neck.

Christiane Kersten already knew at the beginning of her medical studies that she wanted to become a surgeon.

Christiane Kersten earned her medical degree at the Friedrich Alexander University in Erlangen. She conducted the research for her doctoral theses there and at Duke University in the USA. Her surgical career began as a general surgeon at St. Joseph Hospital in Berlin. After several assignments abroad at Duke University in the USA, the next step for Christiane Kersten was clear, specializing in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. Her current practice allows her to combine her comprehensive surgical skills with her refined sense of aesthetics.

She first completed her general surgery residency at Parkklinik Weißensee in Berlin, and then moved to Potsdam to the Ernst von Bergmann Clinic for plastic surgery training.

As a specialist in plastic and aesthetic surgery, she worked for several years as a senior physician at the Ernst von Bergmann Clinic before joining the practice of Peyman Bamdad.

While in Potsdam, she was responsible for all breast surgeries. At the Bamdad Practice in Berlin, Christiane Kersten specializes in body aesthetics, including breast surgery,  liposuction and body contouring. She is an expert at achieving a natural appearance.

Christiane Kersten is a member of the German Society of Plastic, Reconstructive
and Aesthetic Surgeons (DGPRÄC) and the Professional Association of Surgeons (BDC).
