The scar from an abdominoplasty is located in what is known as the bikini zone on the lower abdomen. The length of the scar depends on the extent of the tightening performed and is typically between 25 and 30 cm. Although it is a long scar, it is well hidden below the bikini line.

Pregnancy is still possible after a tummy tuck. It should, however, be planned at least one year after the surgery. A tummy tuck after childbirth is best considered after twelve months.

Stretch marks are often located on the lower abdomen. These marks will be removed as part of the tightening.
